The house is set in beautiful shrub borders leading on to manicured lawns which, in turn, give way to pasture and a walk through ancient wild woodland along a cascading mountain stream, 40 acres in all.
Stretching out below is the panorama of Derwent Water and the Borrowdale Valley through to the distant Scafel Pike, while above and behind the house is the second highest mountain Skiddaw and its lower neighbour Latrigg (known locally as the ‘drive up’ mountain). |
